![]() The V2 does lack the palm swells after customers demanded it. This helps fill the hand and I find them comfortable and they do as promised. The V1 is the model I have with the palm swells. The ACE P365 comes in two variants, the V1 and V2. This adds extra heft to the design and does aid in recoil reduction. To be specific, it’s 7075 aluminum that has been Cerakoted. The question of why is best determined by looking at ACE 365 and seeing what it does differently.įirst and foremost, the biggest difference is the fact that it’s made from aluminum instead of polymer. The big question is why? What was wrong with the stock P365 grip module? First off, I love the P365 and don’t have an ergonomic issue with the original grip module. What makes the ACE 365 Grip Module Different? It’s still easy to push, but it sits deeper in the grip well. Magazines don’t click loudly into place and the magazine release is less exposed. The magazine release feels much different now. In 10 minutes, I had my SIG P365 up and running with the ACE 365 grip module.įirst impressions are that it’s not hefty, but it is thicker and slightly wider. Removing and replacing the magazine release was also easy to do. It was the first time I had ever done so and it was insanely easy. Popping the fire control group in and out took no time at all. Icarus Precision was kind enough to provide me the ACE 365 grip module for this review. A small company, mostly known for car parts, called Icarus Precision has released an all-aluminum P365 grip module. They utilized the same system with the SIG P365 and the aftermarket has taken notice. This means you could purchase a full size 9mm P320 and convert it to a subcompact 40 S&W without the need for an FFL. These fire control groups are like AR lowers, they are technically the firearm portion. worth the money, period.SIG’s big push into the modern handgun market has been their removable, and serialized fire control group. quiet release of my pistol is pretty covert, not that loud "pop" some other kydexs. as far as a taco holster, tight construction. no snags and jabs on the holster, the larger claw gets the grip into my gut, to where I can not print with a XL t-shirt. sweat doesn't bleed into it and a quick wipe down with a cloth gets schmoo and lint off easily. the good: unlike my galco summer comfort, its anchored and doesn't move on my hip, all day comfort when I bend. first the bad, the clips move a little too much and its not anchored to my belt as snug as I like so I modified mine to have nylon reinforced loops and snaps, more of a quality of life upgrade. I swooped one before the masses got it, the dudes at lag asked for review, so I will oblige. It does however not seem to have been made for this holster as it does not attach perfectly to it. The wedge does the function well and cants the gun into my belly to conceal the gun better. This is unfortunate as I had hoped to attach the ones I already had. The holes shown in the figure here to attach Ulticlips are not present in mine. ![]() My gun Is well concealed, but unfortunately I cannot change the height of the holster clip. There is nice click when you insert the gun and the carbon fiber finish makes it look really good. The holster seems to be well made and holds my gun well. I liked this holster because it contained all the things I knew I needed for AIWB (claw, wedge). I order this holster for my p365XL as I had recently purchased the icarus precision (hybrid pro) frame and did not find any other manufacturer that would accommodate this modification. 4 Krieger for p365XL with icarus precision frame.Process was very easy and great customer service. They will accommodate you and whatever custom options you need for your build. ![]() Posted by Nicholas Johnson on 7th Oct 2021Īwesome product and customer service. ![]()
